The Empress

"The Empress" was a 16 track album recorded by Webs & Marionettes in May 2014. John Rees (lead singer and guitarist), Clive Boyland (bass and backing), Anthony Hemsworth (drums / percussion) and Nick Bevan (ex-guitarist) feature on all the recordings of this album. The tracking was done in Banbury (Oxfordshire). Overdubs, mixing and mastering were carried out at Nick's house in Wiltshire. The band had originally decided to release the album in September 2014. Ex-guitarist Nick Bevan quit the band in August 2014 (After their Bodfest slot) and therefor the album was never planned to see the light of day, until now. To this day, Webs & Marionettes continue writing music and playing gigs as a 3-peice (John, Clive and Anthony). Nick Bevan writes solo music and records. Enjoy "The Empress"..
