Patchworks is definitely a name to remember if you’re interested in today’s vintage soul and funk scene. Following the trail of success left by his projects Mr President, Uptown Funk Empire, The Dynamics or Metropolitan Jazz Affair, Bruno “Patchworks” Hovart proved his musical ubiquity album after album and unexpectedly stroke in various genres. Over all these years, he’s also become famous for his great remixes and versions. At Favorite Recordings, the name Patchworks has been part of the adventure since the beginning. We also decided to collect his best and hard to find remixes, building a burning 6 tracks EP!! Except for the recent brilliant remix of the classic “Stand On The Word” by The Joubert Singers, we’ve only picked the best of his out of print materials.
