TwentyEleven Remixes Part 2
September saw the release of the first selection of mixes of tracks from Mauro Picotto's current artist album, "Twenty Eleven." Having created a huge buzz with his first selection, Mauro gears up to unleash Part 2, welcoming another four producers all ready to give their takes on the Italian's originals. First up and fresh from the release his own artist album "Lights From The Inside" is Germany's, Gregor Tresher. Taking charge of the title track, Frankfurt's finest drives his mix with a weighty kick drum and pulsing bassline that increases in intensity in the final third, is pierced by dramatic synth stabs and riffs. Next up is the first of a Dutch trio, Anton Pieete. Renownd for his tough and ferociously groovy productions, Pieete meets his billing with aplomb, with his heavy, jackin' remix of 'Fulcrum.' DJ Madskillz delivers the first of two "Hart Plaza' reworks. Stepping off the gas a touch and building the intensity through two climbing breaks, Madskillz turns in a tech-house crowd-pleaser.
