Timeless EP (Original)

TIMELESS EP is the joint venture by berlin based MRI and valencian producer Reig. For the (up to now) 37th release from Resopal Red, both strive to proove their abilities in electronic production capturing very different sound-scapes that go from a classic deep-house feeling over to what you could call 'musical journeys' with a story-telling character and then moving back to a sample-loop based production style in this release. All four tracks modern classy house tunes. Lemon: Here is something that will stick to your ribs without any gastro follow-up. Just a moment however, not so fast(!) but rather let the enormous bass do its thing. Here there isn't any peek-a-boo from the forest, but rather the entire woods beckon. When MRI’s voice is accompanied by the synth steps, Lemon then really takes off. From pure joy of playing of course or perhaps a righteous rap across the knuckles. Hope: A universe of house with minimal melody, in traditional deep chicago style. Timeless: A straight dancefloor rocker with some truly mineral sounds. What begins as mild static soon develops into cracking thunder & lightning ripping through the air with a disembodied voice hollering at you through a megaphone. It's too late and you keep dancing forward, the groove will carry you home if you don't miss the occasional chords for directions. The Blop: Filled with creeping, hand-crafted chords designed to boost mid-season morale better than an organic hay fever remedy.
