Lonesome Road: The Jamie Records Story 1957-1962

The City of Philadelphia is rightly famous for its independent record labels. Jamie arrived on the scene in 1957, around the same time Cameo Parkway was founded. While Duane Eddy is clearly the star of the Jamie show, artists such as Sanford Clark, Miriam Johnson and Jesse Belvin show the label wasn't a one trick pony. There's plenty to enjoy from one of America's lesser known and celebrated labels in this 50 track set.
