Lee Gray & The Beat’s sophomore single release is entitled Ballad of Billy Hope. This stripped down, live sounding recording showcases the artist in their purest form, exposing the true "bare bones" of their songwriting abilities. This track highlights the raw energy and full force of the guys, reminiscent of what fans can expect from their live performances. Since their formation and very first song, there was always going to be something special about Lee Gray & The Beat. Along with their well crafted songs they have developed a cutting edge sound all of their own. This is mainly due to the unique line up of the group, as they are just a two piece consisting of Lee on lead vocals/guitar and Pete on drums/percussion and anything he can lay his hands on to hit that sounds percussive. The shortage of musicians however is not reflected in their music, with a sound as full and vibrant as you're likely to hear. Lee Gary & The Beat’s debut single Million Lights gained significant airplay placements on radio stations in the US and around the world. The second single is pitched to accomplish the same and more.
