100 Satchmo Classics - the Very Best of Louis Armstrong
Having made his reputation as an instrumentalist in the 1930s, Louis Armstrong proceeded to hit the American musical mainstream - as a vocalist. His vocal performances were almost and extension of his cornet/trumpet playing, for the same qualities were evident in every note. Armstrong died in 1971, but his legacy will be listened to and appreciated for as long as music is played. Featured here are 100 of his best recordings.
