"Walking on Air" is a song recorded by Australian recording artist and producer Anise K. The song features guest vocals from American rapper Snoop Dogg and American singer Bella blue. The song was released on December 18, 2012 through Sony Music Entertainment and has been an international hit bringing a cross of eastern and western sounds. It has topped charts in numerous countries including Australia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Bulgaria, Greece, Cyprus, Hungary, Indonesia, Japan, Russia, and Thailand. "Walking on Air" was originally produced with the intention of having Rihanna feature as the lead singer. Due to scheduling issues, Anise had to search for an alternative artist. Bella Blue was brought in as a session singer to pitch the song to potential other artists. The quality of her performance secured her role for the final song. It took a few months of organisation and negotiations to reel in Hip-Hop superstar Snoop Dogg. This was the last single in which featured Snoop Dogg before changing his stage name to Snoop Lion. It was recorded in Perth (Australia) taking opportunity of Snoop Doggs visit for 2012 Summadayze. Seth Johnson, KC Porter, and Anise K produced the single. KC Porter, 3-time Grammy award winning producer, overlooked the project officially mixed by Phil Tan also a 3-time Grammy award recipient.
