Tribute to Teresa Berganza! The Spanish soprano is one of the highest decorated singers of her country. Although her voice is mostly related to the music of Mozart, Rossini and Bizet this new album tries to show "the other side" of Berganza's art. What we have is a recital of opera arias of 18th Century composers as Gluck, Handel and Pergolesi and others, as well as a selection of Spanish songs from the 20th Century. A programme of great contrast that makes it a thrilling experience.
