The 1950s in Germany was the time of the so-called economic miracle, in which German cinema also experienced a new heyday. The elaborately produced music films with a large star cast were particularly popular. This edition of our "Wirtschaftswunder Kino" collection is devoted to another fine selection top productions, to which outstanding musicians such as Franz Grothe, Lotar Olias, Heino Gaze and Michael Jary contributed the music. The list of stars in this edition also reads like a who's who of German cinema and radio celebrities: Sonja Ziemann, Sonja Ziemann, Zarah Leander, Johannes Heesters, Hans Albers, Heinz Ruhmann, Anny Ondra, Edith Schollwer plus many others and in addition, vocal stars like Rita Paul and Rudi Schuricke.
