Kiwanja

The summer season is in full bloom, and so is the next release on Heinz Music. After his last remix for the label boss Marcus Meinhardt, Italian DJ and producer FreakMe is joining the Heinz family with a full EP. When you think of FreakMe you immediately think about his warm and engulfing music that easily sweeps you off your feet and take you on a dreamy journey, and this is exactly what expects us with “Kiwanja EP”. Setting the sails is “Kalimera”, a soft grooved and feather light tune, the atmospheric touches conveyed by the smooth synths. “Kiwanja” is the title track and continues the trip towards blissful dance floors combining the melodic elements with chanting vocals and a rhythm that immediately sticks in the fibres of your body, giving the track a slight Afro House touch. We end the musical voyage with “Wava Dance”, and as the name indicates we continue with vocals that draw lines to African languages, supported by a slightly heavier but bustling synth, moving together on a harmonic path towards the fierce break. A beautiful release meant to cover great distances.
