Mind Control EP

Bunte Kuh welcomes German producer Bardia Salour to the family as his ‘Mind Control’ EP lands as their nineteenth offering. The collection brings you two originals and a trio of reworks from Heerhorst and Tisko. The title track is up first, built around a repetitive vocal and growling underlay of rich synth and plucked melodic patterns. Bardia’s second original piece ‘Psy Fi’ welcomes throbbing bass line partnered with liquid rolling hi-hats providing the perfect foundation for the more acidic elements that arrive later. Heerhorst then follows with the first of the remixes being his soulful disco driven rework of ‘Mind Control’ - expect a throw back sound with 80s influenced synths taking centre stage here. Tisko then slow things right down with a more stripped back approach, one that still shines the light on Bardia’s unique melody work. Heerhorst returns to close the show with a darker take on ‘Mind Control’ as industrial sounds whirr over chugging techno grooves for a peak time club experience.
