In Everything You Do
Cameron Mitchell, from Apex, NC and currently residing in New York City, has been playing guitar and writing songs since his early teenage years. Cameron got his start in music the summer before highschool while learning guitar on his Dad’s old Epiphone. In 2000, he formed the rock-trio Verona, with Richard Webb and Jonathan Cathcart. Verona went on to a short, but successful run, recording a four-song demo and playing clubs full of screaming high school girls. During his college years, Cameron was a singer/guitarist in the rock cover-band LUSH. LUSH had solid show bookings for three years, playing all over Brown University and the Providence area. LUSH was best known for their lively engaging shows catered to a rowdy, drunken audience. In March 2013, Cameron completed his third release, a 7-song EP entitled "In Everything You Do." Combining acoustic rock and country instrumentation, the album has both radio-friendly cuts and alt-country ballads. Cameron currently resides in Manhattan's Upper West Side and plays solo acoustic shows all over New York City. He plays in a variety of bands, including The Vanity Belles, 3 Guys 1 Cup, and with Brooks Wood.
