Under The Winter

"I am a story teller. My songs say so." Siobhan, Sio Blackwidow, sio-ROI, the twilight child, King is a singer, songwriter, actress, poet, crafter and model. Music is something that came to Siobhan by accident. She was asked to sing in choirs throughout her childhood but she was never given any leads. Her own mother doubted her singing ability, and honestly she still does.lol. Writing was a bit harder; it was also something she stumbled upon. She struggled writing and composing anything as a child it was all very bad. When she was sixteen she wrote her first sound poem, at 17 her first song which ..was a complicated jumble of lyrics I had fit into a song I liked but couldnt get a hold of because we couldnt afford to buy music...", she got the melody wrong. She is one of the founding members and lead vocalist for the House outfit Project 5. Project 5 has released with labels such as Peng Africa in December 2014 called Short Encounters, and their second EP Called Eclipse, is to be released soon Her debut Ep called 'Under the Winter,' is a moody mixture of House and experiments which she co-composed and co-produced with Bongani 'Steven B' Mathebula, Earl 'Mr Bob' Edwards, of 'Project 5' and Chino Chaplin Nhlapho.
