Bullets and Numbers

Bullets and Numbers strives to shape their unique sound through pulling from the numerous styles of the individuals members' personal influences. This is not a statement to be taken lightly, as our influences include everything from baroque classical and bebop jazz to progressive rock, fusion, and New Orleans street funk. Each member backs his enthusiasm with years of experiences recording and performing in these very genres. With a strong emphasis placed on maintaining diversity between songs (some for groove and flow, others for showcasing chops), new listeners are often at a loss to finish the sentence "This sounds kind of like ...." As musicians, we were never really into the over-polished, über-simple, 2-second shelf life pop/rock that currently dominates the airwaves. Our goal is 3-fold and quite simple. We're aiming to create music that: 1. we enjoy writing, 2. we enjoy performing, 3. listeners will add to their lifelong list of favorites; not just a flavor of the week!
