Come Back to Me

Catherine King has been making music all her life, but only started down the singer-songwriter road about five years ago. Having graduated from Berklee College of Music in the late 80's with a degree in music education, she went on to raise three sons. This left little time for anything else. After a trip to Newfoundland to visit family and get back to her roots, Catherine returned home to Cape Cod and once again began writing and making music. This collection of songs is her most recent, and were not writtne with radio play in mind - thus the length of some of the songs. These songs are not cookie cutter, commerical, radio ready songs. They are songs from the heart, stories about people, love, loss, and hope. Come Back to Me was recorded at Brick Hill Studios with Jon Evans, who also contributed his talents on Irish Bouzouki, Dobro, Pedal Steel, Bass, Electric Guitar, and Backing Vocals. Liam Hogg played drums, and he played the hell out of them. Catherine is already working on songs for her next album, so stay tuned.
