Renowned singer Barbara Fowler, Patricia Thompson and Raynette Lockhart transform into the Hartford DIVAS affectionately known as “Divine Inspirational Voices Achieving Success.” These three single moms who hail from Hartford, CT are powerful as they perform on this uplifting and inspirational song in their unique styles and tones leaving listeners hanging onto every lyric. Fowler started her singing debut at the age of 6 where she wowed her audience with her rendition of “America The Beautiful” in a school talent school. Fowler later went on to join the group Sinnamon whose single entitled “Thanks To You” peaked at #1 on Billboard Dance Charts. She won Super top Dog of the year at Amateur Night at the Apollo and debuted on Its Showtime at the Apollo the television show. Fowler’s vocal style has been compared to the likes of Chaka Khan and Whitney Houston. Patricia Thompson fondly called the “lunch lady” works at a local high school. Patricia has been singing for nearly three decades with many local groups in the area and can be heard at Connecticut’s Casinos as well as backup vocals with Melba Moore and the chart topping group Xavier. Thompson’s vocal style has been compared to the likes of Patti La Belle. Raynette Lockhart, cashier at a local retail store, has been singing since the age of 15 after a neighbor heard her singing in her apartment and encouraged her to form a band. After a long hiatus raising children, Raynette is back to pursue her dreams of singing and can be heard with the popular group ADL. The DIVAS are dedicating this song to all the heroes in America, including our Armed Forces who protect us each and every day.
