Vive's music was born out of a desire to hear beautiful relaxing music that speaks to the modern ear. As a reviewer from Spirituality and Health magazine put it, "The luscious sounds and hauntingly sung mantras of Vive fill body, mind and spirit with light that remains long after the music has stopped." Gabriel Mann and Tanya Witman met in an a cappella group at the University of Pennsylvania. During a reunion, they decided to team up on a project to create really good music for massage, yoga and meditation. Gabriel Mann is a multifaceted musician, composer and songwriter who has been involved in countless music and entertainment endeavors including providing scores for Modern Family, Arrested Development, Trophy Wife and Rectify. Tanya Witman currently resides in Tucson, Arizona and is pursuing a career in Health Psychology. Making this music was simple, organic and magical, much like the album itself.
