Full Moon Night
The Rockers are a truly remarkable blend of singers, songwriters and musicians. Veterans of some of the south’s great rock and roll bands the boys have finally gotten together to write and perform their own brand of great music. In their early days Russ and Sam played together in bands in junior high and high school. Both later attended LaGrange College in LaGrange, Georgia where they teamed up with Greg and played together until graduation. Shortly after college Russ, Greg and Sam got back together and formed The Reasons Why along with Wesley Long, Richard Haralson and Ronnie Everitt. The "Whys" played the clubs of Georgia and Alabama for over five years before coming off of the road. Not too long after that Russ teamed up with Paul and formed The Nightsharks. The "Sharks" were a very popular band, producing a number of great cds, and are still well remembered throughout the south and in the many clubs along the gulfcoast. At one point Greg joined up with The Nightsharks and toured with them as their keyboard player. After finally coming off of the road with The Nightsharks Russ and Paul, together with Chris Barnes and David West, formed Neon Jones. The band produced a great cd of the same name and they still work together from time to time. After a brief period away from music Russ, Greg and Sam reunited for the purpose of writing and recording an original project. Together with David and Paul, The Rockers were formed and "Full Moon Night" was completed in late 2007 and is now available for purchase. Already deep into rehearsals for their second cd The Rockers hope to be entertaining their fans for years to come with great original music which features their unique vocal harmonies and their masterful musicianship.
