Chris Cooke has been writing as an Author, Poet and Lyricist for twenty-seven years. He has two self published books, The Ride and Stories For Those Of Us With A Short Attention Span. Several short stories from Stories For Those Of Us With A Short Attention Span have been turned into award winning short films that were directed and filmed by Chris. Alfie Dog Publishers in the UK recently published numerous short stories online and in their print compilations that Chris has written. Most recently, Chris' films have been featured on a show called, “Shorts Showcase” which airs on PBS in the United States to an audience of eighteen million every weekend. Also in the works is a theatrical play based on Stories For Those Of Us With A Short Attention Span that Chris is working on as a writer, director, actor and producer. The play will feature stories, music and dancing and is designed to be a fast paced, thought provoking ride for the audience. Chris also has three CD’s of original music available. The newest CD, Blue Marble Symphony features a duet with the legendary Delaney Bramlett of Delaney and Bonnie and Friends and “Never Ending Song Of Love” fame. Currently, Chris has been immersed in his recording studio writing music for commercial release as well as film and television. You can hear two of Chris' songs, FREAK SHOW and I BELIEVE featured in the movie, Daybreak. Chris is working hard on a new book of short stories as well as a new novel. Depending on how smoothly the creative process flows, Chris hopes to have these two literary endeavors available in 2014 – 2015. When not writing or touring the world with various bands, Chris enjoys surfing, stunt kite flying and online gaming.
