Madi Wolf and the Pack (Live at the Silk Mill)
We"ll.... The story is told that in late March of 1998. A incredible storm developed over the historic town of Fredericksburg Virginia, lines were down power was lost by many. The local media that night reported that a strange guitar shaped cloud had formed over the local hospital. On that night, amidst power failures and emergencies, Madi Wolf was born. Five years later Madi was introduced to the Guitar, by her grandfather A Famous local guitar luthier Then at seven, Madi Wolf was scheduled to give her first guitar recital in front of a packed house, she decided that she couldn't go on. Her teacher told her to sit in a near by room for awhile and think about it...mean while A storm seem to blow in from nowhere. The local media again reported seeing the same strange guitar shaped cloud, as the night Madi was born,... but this time it was right over the music school. Then as Madi's teacher was about to skip her performance and go on to the next child... Madi appeared on stage, and without skipping a beat played her whole set ....masterfully. The years went by and Madi wrote and played for her family and friends always longing for a larger audience. At 11 She befriended a video artist, together they created moving images for her songs, introducing Madi Wolf to the World. At twelve she meets and talked with the Mega-producers of the world, each enthusiastic, but also trapped by their own sounds and visions of their past accomplishments. Now At the same time... A New sound was developing right in her own hometown. They were a eclectic group of musicians, each a powerhouse in their own right.... giving birth to "The Skiffle Lounge Sound"....A Spooky Hot Retro sound, crafted from a eclectic choice of instruments, played with a totally modern intensity. And as destiny would have it.... At thirteen Madi Wolf meets her Pack, and the "The Skiffle Lounge Sound" has A New Queen.
