Hail The Dream
Billy Boyle is a singer-songwriter who started his singing career performing gospel music in a quartet with his brothers at the age of eleven in a rural west Tennessee county near Memphis. He worked professionally as an accountant in government service for a number of years, while he continued to enjoy his love for music by writing songs that he performed in churches, at family reunions, and other public and charity events. Billy is a proud 2008 recipient of the esteemed Albert Gallatin Award for service of merit to the United States Government. Billy is a self-taught guitarist who has written a catalog of lyrics that are reflective of his lifelong experiences. He offers his listeners original songs that are musically well rounded with universal themes everyone can relate to and melodies to which everyone can groove. As a multi-talented artist, he arranges and composes all of his material. He has his own unique vocal range. His writing style appeals to a wide variety of audiences of all backgrounds and ages. He is a lyricist at heart. His two tracks CD entitled “HAIL THE DREAM” is a fusion of genres with spiritually inspired contemporary gospel as the foundation for an Americana and popular music expression of patriotism and equality and the belief in love for fellowman and country. The title track “Hail the Dream” is a tribute to Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. The album also features a song titled “Our Merry Land” which is a patriotic tribute to the greatness of our country, the United States of America.
