Big reeno was born in Westside Africa(Nigeria) and is definitely dat hommie y’all cant hope to witness...reppin the Mid-west right now, big reeno is set to release his ground breakin c.d (MIDWEST HEAVYWEIGHT) this spring. Midwest Heavyweight is a blend of hardcore gangsta rap mixed with a lil R&B thats definitely gonn have the streets and clubz buzzin. The album features guest appearances from hustle proof artists such as lil neil, D-roy the prince and J-Gan aka lil skeet who also produced the entire album. Reeno has been in the game for over five years. performing in various clubs and doing his best to get his name out there. Reeno was scheduled to release his debut c.d last fall, but the effort never saw the light of day. this was because the label (hustle proof records) had to take care of some loose ends on the business side and decided that the time wasnt right. instead of getting bitter about the whole situation, reeno decided to go back in the lab and make more music. right now, big reeno is about 50% done with the album which is scheduled to drop this spring. \"right now, we half way done with the album and we decided to chande the c.d name from \"The Underground LP\" to \"Midwest heavyweight\". we made this change because when i went back in the lab,i started recording so many classics, that i decided to change the whole direction of the album. and since i changed half the album, i decided that it was only right that the album gets a new name too. hence the change.\" when asked about the c.d name \"Midwest Heavyweight\", reeno had this to say: \"the midwest has a real bubbling hip hop scene. we have kanye west, common, lupe and Gemini holding it down for chicago (on the mainstream). but when it comes to this underground ****, i think i’m the best. yes i’m still underrated and yes am still relatively unknown, but once da c.d drop, mehn all that is gonn change. i’m gonn take the midwest underground scene by storm. then,y’all gonn know why big reeno be da best 4rm da midwest...\" Midwest Heavyweight coming this spring via Hustle Proof Records. The first single off the album called \"My Emotions\" is currently on constant rotation on a number of radio stations in the Midwest, including Y.94 where it has been named the number 1 most requested song from a non mainstream artist.
