Now celebrating his 20th season with the Carmel Bach Festival, David originally came to Carmel as Evangelist in the St. John Passion, and was a principal tenor soloist for nine Festival seasons. Throughout his long career as a performer of Bach's music, David Gordon has been active nationally as a master class teacher, clinician, and lecturer. In 1998 he became a member of the artistic staff as the Bach Festival's first Education Director and Vocal Coordinator.
