These days its rare to find a young adult who's so passionate about Jesus Christ who helps others as they experience the valleys of life. Ryan Davis is unique; throwing out a lifeline as he ministers through song. At 23 years old, he addresses common life situations with a message which instills hope and brings a sense of comfort. His talents and abilities extend beyond a musician or songwriter; but he breathes life through his voice. These talents have been shown in his two inspirational singles "Better Day" and "Thank You," There is absolutely no stopping Ryan's tremendous passion for people and them discovering hope in God. "I started making music because I wanted to use whatever I was gifted with to help the world. With the condition of this world, I felt people needed more artist addressing issues with life altering content. Its important to take the situations we endure and use them to better our lives and the lives around us." Born and raised in the sunny state of California, Ryan grew up in church and began to sing at a young age. He was inspired by some of the greats like Fred Hammond, Israel Houghton, Kirk Franklin and even R&B legends like Michael Jackson, Boys II Men, and Stevie Wonder. He discovered his writing talents while in grade school and was recognized in front of students at his elementary school. Later he took his writing skills and wanted to see if he could write music. " I'm just happy that God blessed me with this, and I feel I was created to write, play, and sing." In 2010, Ryan received an athletic scholarship to Western Illinois University to play football. At that time, he dreamed of an opportunity to go to the NFL, but little did he know Gods plan for his life. He met a group of christian singers originally from Chicago,IL and he fell in love with their style. "I have never heard singers as talented as them before in my life. I was privileged to be able to play the piano for them." While attending Western Illinois University he was asked to sing at two large concert venues. "As I was singing and playing the piano I began to realize the positive influence I could have on people through music." He graduated with his Bachelor's Degree in Communication in 2012 and moved back to Sacramento, CA. He then got very serious about his music and was determined to write songs and launch a career as a recording artist. With his recent release of his two singles he has caught lots of attention from the publics eye. "These songs were written to inspire people everywhere regardless of their current circumstances; there will be a Better Day and until then I'm going to Thank God for all he's done in our lives." So whats up next? Ryan is currently working on his Freshman Album which is expected to release Fall of 2014. The unsigned artist is looking forward to all God has planned for his musical career. The christian music industry will experience the excitement of having such a young and talented minister of music like Ryan. "I love what I do! Playing the piano and guitar compliments my writing and producing style. I will remain obedient to whatever God has planned for my life. I will not stop until my destiny has been fulfilled."
