Playing the 7 Seas

Gaither is a full-time professional musician and entertainer. Playing the guitar since age 6, he’s toured internationally, played many San Diego venues, and is a solo guitarist/vocalist/entertainer for cruise lines. He has played for corporations large and small, including MGM Grand (Las Vegas), and Qualcomm Stadium and Viejas Casino (San Diego). He has performed in many environments, from weddings to stadiums, and can play up to eight hours of music without repeating song material. Typically performing solo with a unique combination of live loops he has, however, played with many band formats. His versatility–along with years of experience– provides a large cross-section of styles and music. Sailing the 7 Seas is a compilation of both vocal and instrumental pieces–all written and performed by Gaither, with the exception of the first selection. The remaining songs were chosen to play either in the background (adding to the ambiance), or to turn it up and have the selections take you on a journey. Either way, this album is a collection of some of Gaither's favorite songs, many of which are played nightly as he performs around the world on cruise ships.
