Lovey started writing music at age 13, recording her first single at 14 in a local studio. She loves to share the mad world she views through her young eyes in her lyrics. Every song comes straight from her heart and bleeds out through her pure, innocent voice. Like a lark, she sings a beautiful melody, yet tells of sorrow and sadness and passions beyond her years. A firelight songstress, she finds her path in singer-songwriting and paints dreamy scenes with her powerful words. On her songs, she plays piano, guitar, and cello, both singing and writing the lyrics and music. It is a haunting simplicity to her art that draws people in, and her surprising depth that holds them so captive. Her style is evolving into something completely her own with folk influences and a bit of pop mixed in.
