The Vault Vol. 1.5
Review: "A heavily reworked version of Eric Roberson's massive Vault album -- one of our favorite new soul releases of the past few years! This version shares a cover and title with the first version, but overall, it's practically a whole new record -- with 8 songs out of 12 that are completely new, leaving only 4 tracks from Vault 1 still remaining -- and Eric changed the order of tunes around, cleaned things up, and really came up with an album that he feels best represents his talents. The whole thing's incredible -- amazingly even better than the first, and one of the best male soul albums you could hope to find -- in this year, or any other! Eric's sound is instantly classic -- smooth and mellow, yet never wimpy -- put together with a production style that's got the economy and simple elegance of the best work by Stevie Wonder or Leroy Hutson! Titles include "Right Back To You", "Lil Money", "Def Ears", "Obstacles", "Find The Way", "Rock With You", "Change For Me", "I Have A Song", and "She Ought To Know", which features guest vocals by Marsha from Floetry!"
