Cala

The third single to be taken from the forthcoming Dive (12 May) album by Joris Feiertag is a deep and melodic slice of foot friendly electronica, and one of the more esoteric moments on this laconic LP. Cala, with its steel drums, guitars and dramatic, swooping synths has something of a Jamie XX feel to it. Neck snapping drums combine with sagacious refrains and well chosen vocal snippets, to produce a tenacious tune that will once again unite dance floors at a time we need them the most.
