Songs for Families
"Leonard" was my family nickname in high school, I'm not sure why. When my children were little, I could always get a laugh out of them by singing songs about boogers, farting, and other stuff that really makes them laugh. As they grew older, the songs grew with them. I finally decided that I had to preserve them in some way, so I recorded "Songs For Families" in my basement. I play all the instruments, and do all the recording myself (usually at an hour at at time), so it took years to complete. Although I have many more songs, I narrowed down 7 of them that I thought were "finished" enough to put on a record. The music style is guitar-based, and ranges from folk to the blues to funk, and the melodies (I hope) are catchy. If you are looking for kid's music, and want something that will raise a chuckle out of them, this album is for you! Enjoy! Mike Armstrong
