I’d like to apologize for that image that you see above, which is quite possibly the ugliest, most hideous piece of single art that we will all experience together in this lifetime. But it just so happens that that particular monstrosity is attached to an absolute banger. Veteran Atlanta mushmouth 2 Chainz has improbably become one of rap’s most consistent voices over the past six months or so. And for his new single “No Lie,” he links up with Drake for a bit of player-rap hardness that you will probably hear pounding from at least a few passing cars this summer.
