Knocking Out the Future

K.O.F Is a rap group from Queens who developed their style by futuristically combining funk and jazz grooves with the energy hip hop and dance. The core members include Aditya Madan A.K.A Deetch, Cordell Martin A.K.A Mr. Cozgrove, Danny D’Emidio, Dwayne Bowzer A.K.A Knowaru and Spencer Gallardo. K.O.F’s original acronym stands unkown to this day, the groups’ members being sworn to secrecy about its original meaning. Regardless of their origins the Queens natives formed in the midst of testing eachothers’ skills. Keeping all their bars aimed at the issues of the mind, matters of the heart good vibrations and refreshingly complex turn of phrase. Influences on their sound include overtones of world music jazz, bossa nova, reggae, electronica, and punk. The wide variety of ingredients that each of the group members put in the mix brings out the best in themselves in the aim to bring out the best in the world. K.O.F’s First studio album “Knock Out Future” is set to be released in August of 2012. In the mean time- travel, live, learn, bring yourself AND your people up.
