Mr Black A DJ and producer for over 22 years, Mr Black has pretty much done it all: held residencies across the country, hosted nights at some of the biggest clubs in London (Ministry of sound, Turnmills Pacha and the Cross), enjoyed two tours of Ibiza (Es paradis, Eden, Plastik), right through to running and founding record labels (Orgy Dance, Black Plastik Records) Mr Black started his DJ career at the tender age of 12, and over the years has played various styles of music, from old skool hip hop, rave/jungle, garage, what is now known as "club classics", right through to tech funk, tech house and techno. Mr Black has also become part of DJing trio The Bearded House Junkies Getting involved with production became a logical step for Mr Black, enjoying many releases in the days of vinyl on Orgy Dance. Over the years Mr Black has become a prolific producer and remixer, having had tunes signed to labels Neptuun City, Redbox Records and Maintain Replay, with many more in the pipeline. RoBBerto RoBBerto started DJing in late 2002 at the age of 18 after spending his teenage years discovering and falling in love with all things dance music. Over the next few years the musical journey continued, with RoBBerto's tastes developing to include tech house, deep house and the underground sound coming out of Chicago and Nottingham. In 2006 RoBBerto met Mr Black who inspired him to become involved with music production. After an extended period of time holding down residencies, starting Black Plastik Records and spending any spare time observing the dark art of making house music, RoBBerto was finally ready to release his own material on the label, as well as getting remixing credits on labels such as Neptuun City and Redbox Records. Amongst all of this RoBBerto also became a founding member of The Bearded House Junkies. Redbox Records presents and welcomes the duo back, Mr Black & RoBBerto, with another quality release of House music.
