De King Is Born

This song was written by my good friend and Grammy Award winning writer/arranger Morgan Ames and myself Donna McAfee. Every Christmas, Morgan presents an annual holiday show. I have been fortunate enough to be able to sing with her group, Inner Voices, during those shows...During one of our many rehearsals we were goofing around with song ideas and out pops the idea of doing a Christmas song with an Island feel. We got started and never stopped. This song has been performed by some of the greatest accapella vocal groups around including Inner Voices (OK so I am a bit biased ), M-PACT and most recently by the amazing German group MAYBEBOP. This group took the song to an amazing level with smooth harmonies and effortless stylings....I was blown away and I know you will be too! Enjoy MAYBEBOP and De King is Born.
