Breathe

After over 20 years in the business you'd think that most artists would be running out of steam and already released their finest work years ago. Not so with Kenny Thomas, like a fine wine that gets better with age his silky voice and soul vibe are sounding better than ever on new album "Breathe" (his 4th) "The Show Is Over" is perhaps his best song and I can see why it was chosen as the lead single from this Soul epic. Radio friendly and a slight departure from his usual sound but it works so well. Other highlights include title track "Breathe" "Baby It's You" "Get Out" (truly amazing vocal)and a 2011 update for classic hit "Thinking About Your Love" The big surprise for me though is the track "How Do I Let You Go" Just fantastic! I can't fault any of the 14 tracks, this is definently his best album to date. I know artists always say when they bring out new material that it is their best album yet as standard but this truly is. This will be played to death over the coming months.
