Grooving Acid
Argentinian cohorts Javier Benitez and John Joseph - (arg) lock horns as Pro B Tech Music returns for it's fifty-first release. The 'Grooving Acid' EP delivers on it's promise, with an original mix yielding deep, hypnotic textures in abundance, whilst aforementioned 'acid' synth lines melt deliciously into the soundscape. Unaccompanied, John Joseph - (arg) returns to deliver the first re-interpretation and penultimate piece of the EP, on this occasion adopting an avenue of darker, insular techno. Weighty and ferocious in equal measure, there's still room for some of the more refined, musical aspects of the exquisite original. Completing the package is a remix from one of Israel's finest, Moshic. An impressive discography spanning a number of great labels and back catalogue arching in advance of a decade, he certainly lives up to expectations owing to a devastatingly effective slice of ethereal progressive. This is sure to find it's way into the playlists of the finest tastemakers. We hope you enjoy. Words by Breccia (c) 2016 enquiries to: breccia82@gmail.com
