Inaccessible EP

For the second release on Ausnahmezustand / A State of Emergency we are very glad to announce an assorted collection of tracks by Martin Merkel. Just a very few months ago our Agency StilEvent negotiated a world wide exclusive contract with him and now we've got him for an EP with four tracks including a Remix of Inaccessible made by Urig & Dice. On this EP Martin Merkel shows his affection to the darker and straighter side of electronic music. The result is a brilliant package with just a single purpose: Deployment on the dancefloor. The main track Inaccessible moves with pumping beats straight forward, the voluminous bassline enters your torso even on lower volume and the screwy siren chords drill in your mind immediately. His fellows Urig and Dice awarded the track with their personal touch while following the main themes. They replaced the female french voice with a male shout out and slenderized the percussions. The amazing kick of their remix is an uplifting siren chord which enriches the track with tremendous peak breaks. As if that wasn't enough, Martin Merkel pulled out two more weapons: Gumdrops is a straight forward track in which various types of small extraordinary sound elements orchestrate the scene. Their interaction creates a non melodic but energizing groove and the breaks arises at the right time. My Fault is a more deeper but not less driving tune with a waving volumious bassline, mystic whispers and a fantastic funky part for soul- and brainfood.
