With years in entertainment, touring as part of a company or backing up vocalists like Kristine W., BRIAN KENT decided to focus on his love of songwriting and performing and has brought his own solo talent to life in his full length debut “Breathe Life.” Released in 2008 and distributed by Centaur Entertainment, the content of “Breathe Life” grabbed listeners instantly by speaking to the truth of life's relationships, narrating the journey of awareness, discovery and recovery of one’s authentic self. One of the singles, “Whatcha’ Doin To Me” hit the Top 40 on the Billboard Dance Charts. It was also Kent’s second making it to #1 on Sirius Satellite Radio’s Hot 20 Charts. The title track “Breathe Life” was nominated for a Just Circuit Award with the likes of Rhianna and was played in clubs internationally. Brian Kent has celebrated some amazing placements with this music and videos building the buzz. His videos for “Breathe Life” directed by Loic Maes (Infernal) and “I'm Not Crazy”, directed by Jorg Fockele (Queer Eye For The Straight Guy) spread quickly to dance clubs, video bars and lounges across the country through Promo Only, Rock America and Screenplay by Import Sound & Vision. These videos spent weeks on the Top 10 countdown show The Click List on LOGO causing Brian to be voted one of the Top Artists of The Year on their end of the year special. The videos were also seen on HBO Zone, VH1.com and here! TV Networks. Brian’s music was also licensed to Tori Spelling’s film Kiss the Bride , Project Runway – Season 5’s finale and his track “Drive” hit #1 on Sirius Radio’s Hot 20 Charts. This allowed Brian’s name to spread and allowed him to tour many Pride Festivals and clubs both nationally and in Europe. Brian released his own dance version of Journey's Don't Stop Believin' in 2005 which created the word of mouth that marked his debut single. With this release, Brian scored the praise of such spinners as Twisted Dee, Julian Marsh, Randy Bettis, Warren Gluck and Brett Henrichsen (Masterbeat Records). Brian has co-written and collaborated with such amazing talent as Jack D. Elliot (Reina, Kristine W), Chico from Rizz-One Entertainment (Junior Vasquez, Katherine McPhee) and Zhana Saunders, who has performed with such great artists as Taylor Dayne and Dee-Lite. The new single “I’ll Find A Way” was co-written and also produced by Jack D. Elliot for JDE Music who has also worked with such great artists as Nick Lachey, NSync and Britney Spears and Diane Warren.
