Troubadour
Laura Bowman is etching a name for herself in the folk community, while incorporating pop and theatrical tones to her newest works. After completing her first national tour, funded entirely by busking from city to city, Laura found herself immersed in folk music. Troubadour was inspired by the life works of the late great Pete Seeger, and written during her travels as a street musician. Coming from a musical theater background, Laura's vocals take the forefront, as she explores a variety of instrumentation and found-object percussion. The lyrics of the new album depict a focus on community, love, and the immeasurable power of song. For more information about Laura Bowman, or to join her mailing list, go to: www.LauraBowmanMusic.com
