A Journey to Worship
Gloria Christian is an anointed psalmist, musician, composer, and artist who passionately shares messages of encouragement and praise through the ministry of music. Gloria has a unique ability to tap into the presence of God through an anointed voice and sensitivity to the Holy Spirit in praise and worship services, which ushers audiences into a powerful worship experience.Gloria released her first album in 2001 entitled “Why I Praise,” an independent project, born out of prayer, trial, and worship. This project enjoyed favorable radio play and reception as Gloria traveled extensively singing and delivering powerful messages of encouragement and praise while proclaiming the gospel of Jesus Christ in word and song. She has sung lead vocals for a number of local community choirs and groups in her hometown and the surrounding region as well as opening for well-known artists such as the Russells, the Williams Brothers, Marvin Sapp, LaShun Pace, Donnie McClurkin, Rance Allen, Sunday’s Best Winners, Crystal Aiken, Y’Ana Crowley, LeAndria Johnson, and Jessica Reedy, among others . She has appeared in several artist showcases throughout the country including Donnie McClurkin’s 1st Music & Ministry Conference, the GMA Regional Music Showcase both in Nashville, TN. She was a finalist in the “About My Father’s Business” Conference Showcase held in Indianapolis, IN, Gospel Search of America in Dallas, TX, and a participant in Season 5 Sunday’s Best in Atlanta, GA. Gloria mentors, teaches, and encourages youth and adults through a compassionate spirit, balancing Godly and experiential wisdom with a genuine love for God and people. Gloria served as Minister of Music and Youth Director at Agape Storehouse Apostolic Church in Meridian, MS under Pastors John & Linda Willis. She is an educator and Mississippi State University alumnus as well as president of Gloria Christian Ministries established in 2006. A Journey to Worship is her 'sophmore' cd release featuring selections that take the listeners on a journey from celebratory praise into a realm of sincere worship, then beyond the veil into the very presence of God.
