bntm is about wearing your heart on your sleeve. We like to make our vocals talk to vulnerability, sex, love, sexuality, and every other emotion. We were never going to be just about telling our fans to 'get on the dance floor and shake it like they just don't care'. Music often get's lost in effects and fluff which is fine when you're under the mirror ball and the influence at a club, but for the other 95% of your life you might want to hear about something that makes you think for a minute, puts you in the moment or resonates with what you've felt once before. Because of such a strong club and DJing background I can't not let that come through in our music but it doesn't dominate the sound.
