The EP explores themes of female empowerment and is reminiscent of the dance pop of Dua Lipa and the edgy-cool nature of Pink Pantheress. Since debuting in 2018, (G)I-DLE has racked up over 3 billion streams and continues to set themselves apart by co-producing their own music and creative directing their campaigns. In support of the EP, the group embarked on a world tour including stops in New York, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Paris, London, Berlin and Japan. “I DO,” the EP’s first single, has almost 40 million streams and upon release, the video immediately went Top 10 on YouTube. Following the release of “I DO” (G)I-DLE has become the second K-pop girl group in history to secure multiple entries on the Pop Airplay chart. HEAT will be released with a new video for the single, “I Want That.”
