Hurry Up And Wait
Standard Issue formed in April of 2002. They came out strong, pulling crowds almost immediately and have been pulling off high-energy, feel-good shows ever since. Their sound is melodic, strong, and leaves the audience wanting more. Their first recording effort was a 5-song demo which, despite the obvious 'do-it-yourself' recording quality, was instantly in high demand as soon as the word was out. Their follow-up, titled "Seven Song EP" was a better quality recording and the CD release party at The Roseland Theatre in Portland pulled 100+ fans. Standard Issue set out on their first tour effort in October 2003 and played Las Vegas and Los Angeles, CA. In May of 2004, Standard Issue walked into Opal Studios in Portland and began recording their latest EP, "Hurry Up And Wait". On July 30th, 2004, they held their official CD release party at The Aladdin Theater in Portland where they drew over 100+ show goers and fans for a memorable show. Now, with a solid product to truly represent their style and sound, they are ready to move to the next level. Standard Issue is a hard working, dedicated band. With catchy hooks and a solid pop-punk edge, Standard Issue is headed straight for the top. Their left of center appeal and live performances that won't let people sit still, keep current fans coming back while gaining new followers with every show. CHECK OUT THEIR NEW CD NOW ON CD BABY!!
