Welcome to Planet MOLOTOV The band has been rocking and rolling for nearly twenty years now and despite a number of line-up changes, has always remained loyal to it's fundamental musical philosophy - striving to produce some of the most iconic rock music the world has ever heard. The great news for fans is that the lost '96 to '97 recordings which were never released have recently been unearthed. These songs are regarded by the band themselves to be their finest work to date. Here, dear reader, is what happened... Following an acrimonious bust-up with their then Producer, Jack Dillinger, the Band's master tapes of the finished album vanished in 1998 along with Dillinger whom some thought had fled to Colombia taking with him a pot of cash owed to the band. Despite desperate efforts over the years to trace Dillinger, he was never found and it was thought that the tapes had been lost forever. Fast-forward a number of years,. By a total stroke of luck, a British traveller and rock music fan was recently browsing in a market in Iquitos, Peru. He was approached by a crazy old American who said he'd been living in the rain forest for many years. Referring to himself as 'Dillon,' he said he had an old but nevertheless intact package which the traveller might want to investigate in exchange for some new clothes, food and some questionable pharmaceuticals! Against all odds, the battered package miraculously contained the tapes which after years in oblivion remained relatively unscathed. God only knows how!
