Una Flauta en la Noche, Vol. 1
Much has been written about the legendary Quechua Indians, one of the most important artists in Latin America. His music of soft tones, which seems to breathe eternity, can only be fully developed in a concert, and is here celebrated by the artist. In the production of UNA FLAUTA EN LA NOCHE, it was clear to us from the outset that only a live recording could give an approximation to the free musical spirit of UÑA RAMOS and its roots in the millennial old Indian culture. BRUNO ULYSSE PAUVAREL, an outstanding guitarist from France with whom UÑA RAMOS has worked for many years, created the arrangements and accompanied him on the classical guitar, the 12 - string guitar and the synthesizer guitar. The often long-lasting applause between the pieces was cut out, so that the music lover can indulge himself undisturbed by this dreamlike music. The unique atmosphere of the concert, which had been sold out a few weeks before, on January 2, 1994, at the Berlin Philharmonic, where UÑA RAMOS was celebrated by its audience, is an essence.
