Like It Deep
Where did I first find electronic music? For me, it was at Michel De Hey's Future nights in the famous Nighttown Club in Rotterdam. That basement feel and the funky rhythms stayed with me, stuck in my mind and set me on a course of house and techno that's lasted ever since. When I make music I always aim for a sleazy, rhythmic and ass-shaking feel, but right now I am refreshing my sound. I think this EP sounds more slick at the moment, more stripped back. It's deeper and sexier. Rene Amesz delivers his first Toolroom EP of 2015 and showcases the fresh sound reverberating from his studio recently. Low slung drums and sleazy vocals are the order of the day as Amesz creates 2 peak-time house tracks that instantly suggest the Summer season of Ibiza is just around the corner.
