At The BBC
A new compilation gathering Amy Winehouse's performances at the BBC has been unveiled. More than a year after her death, Amy Winehouse continues to influence British music. The retro soul style she mastered can be heard everywhere, with several Mercury nominees - step forward Kiwanuka, La Havas - owing a debt to her music. Now the BBC have announced plans to gather some of the late singer's performances from their archives. 'Amy Winehouse At The BBC' features a number of rare recordings, and includes input from friends and collaborators. Out on November 12th, the four disc set contains three DVDs and one audio CD. Disc one is curated by Jools Holland, while Disc Two is a fourteen song audio collection. Disc Three features the Porchester Hall sessions, while the final disc contains 'Amy Winehouse - The Day She Came to Dingle'. Recorded in 2006, the short film contains a 20 minute performance from the late singer in an intimate church setting. 'Amy Winehouse At The BBC' will be released on November 12th.
