Behind The Curtains

Stories In Trance reaches the 30 mark and taking us there are Veeto & Daveij with their brilliant Behind The Curtains. Veeto is the new moniker for Italian producer Vito De Santis, who is well known for his numerous productions over the last couple of years under his Vitodito guise. With many excellent tracks and remixes under his belt on Neuroscience, Perceptive and Harmonic Breeze here he teams up with Swedish producer Daveij (David Folkebrant) to create this uplifting melodic track. We have two different yet superb remixes for your consideration in addition to the original offering and first is Soulforge with this epic take on things. Soulforge (the United States' Skye Donnelly) has a tidy back catalogue behind him with strong appearances on Alter Ego and Neuroscience, plus previous collaborations working directly with Vito creating some pleasing originals and remixes. So here he shows good knowledge of Vito's work and is able to best compliment it with a more powerful, driving reinterpretation. First-rate work I think you'll agree. To complete the package, we give you the Manuel Rocca remix. Manuel hails from Italy and clearly influenced by previous Italian greats, subtle touches are evident here as he follows in a similar vein to fellow countryman Luca Lombardi by perfectly demonstrating a natural ability to create beautifully delicate and memorable productions, giving the already excellent original his own flavour. Stories In Trance aims to uncover the most talented and imaginative new producers and team up with some of the more established names in the scene to work together in evolving the sound. This release sticks firmly to our philosophy of not only showcasing a diverse range of sounds within trance, but also offering balanced releases by seeking out those that can interpret the original in a different way.
