Boisterous
We are back with release number 199 and this time with yet another hot 4 track release from Dutch groove master Melvin Spix! We start off with the title track called 'Boisterous' - a massive four-to-the-floor banger that has all of that typical Spix approach to sound design written all over it! Rolling beats, nasty synth stabs together with a super infectious groove capture the essence of late-night adventures and endless dance moves! Second up is 'Signal' - a dark-edged synth line leads the way to an intense rumbling raw techno track with real force and energy that will bring many floors to life! The gritty yet stripped back beats perfectly complement the vibe making this track a real standout tune in your sets. The third track in line is 'Straight To The Point', this one is on a deeper side than the previous two tunes of the release yet it still has that strong bouncy feeling Melvin creates so naturally within his tracks. The percussive elements in the tune refer to its title name taking no prisoners. The last on the release is 'Tresor' - a synth loaded track that pushes the envelope on this release: arpeggios and nasty drums are the message here showing that he feels right at home in all markets as long as it rumbles and rolls! Yet again Melvin delivers an amazing release firmly sealing his name within Say What? family! Enjoy
