来自洛杉矶的唱作人BANKS初期把自己写的歌曲放在SoundCloud提供大家试听，真正使她获得关注的是在年初与Sam Smith、FKA Twigs、 Jungle、Royal Blood等一起入选了今年的BBC Sound of 2014名单，在后面几位相继交出各自的第一张答卷后，BANKS也在近期发行了自己的第一张录音室作品《Goddess》。（XIAMI） "Goddess" is the upcoming debut studio album by American singer-songwriter Jillian Banks, better known by her stage name as just BANKS. It’s scheduled to be released on September 9, 2014 via Harvest Records. After promoting her latest single ‘Brain‘, the singer has ready the next one. The new and fifth overall single is the album’s title track ‘Goddess‘ and was exclusively premiered on MistaJam’s BBC Radio 1Xtra show on April 28th. It will be released on iTunes (UK) in June and was released alongside the pre-order of the album on iTunes on April 29th. The album also comes preceded by the promotional singles, ‘Before I Ever Met You‘, 'Warm Water‘ and ‘Waiting Game‘, all released in 2013.
